"I have had 12 years of incredible joy singing with Jersey Harmony Chorus. I am especially touched by the sense of community we have." Gail Bruno, Baritone

Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and teaching four-part barbershop harmony, an American folk art, for voices in the treble clef range. Jersey Harmony Chorus is the Princeton, NJ chapter, a part of Region 15, the Greater New York region.

Under the direction of Certified Director Kat Britt, our chorus boasts members from Mercer, Somerset, Middlesex, Ocean, Hunterdon counties in New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Some of our members have participated in Sweet Adelines for over 30 years. Others are novices.

Our membership includes anyone who can pass our audition and who can sing in the soprano/alto voice range. Our common bond is a love of singing and performing. Our repertoire includes pop music, show tunes, patriotic songs, and holiday music.

We meet weekly for rehearsal on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. We have several coaching sessions, educational workshops, and singing gigs throughout the year. We also compete along with other Sweet Adelines Region 15 choruses in Albany, NY in the spring of each year. The essential requirements for membership are the ability to carry a tune, hold your own as you sing your part in a quartet, and the time to attend weekly rehearsals.
